The drinks manufacturer Nouvelle Brasserie de Guinée (Braguinée) has expanded the range of its soft drink brands „Planet“, „Bubble Up“ and „American Cola“ to include 1 litre bottles. The production and The packaging line is customised by Remote support from the beverage expert Sidel.
Nouvelle Brasserie de Guinée responded to the demand for larger formats for consumption at home with the introduction of the 1 litre drinking bottle. The company had previously produced its drinks in small formats for on-the-go consumption (300 ml and 350 ml). In just three days, a multidisciplinary Sidel team of experts from all over the world was mobilised to provide the customer with a new product, using latest Sidel technologies to provide support and guidance for remote system changeovers and efficient digital solutions for adapting to larger formats.
Packaging line jointly customised
The main aim of the assignment was to provide Braguinée employees with in-depth expertise to ensure that the line could be adapted to the new format safely and efficiently. An international team of high-ranking Sidel experts from Pakistan, Italy, Portugal and the United Arab Emirates was mobilised to ensure a flawless line changeover. Remote collaboration, continuous availability of the experts, precise and clear communication between both parties and specific documentation significantly facilitated the successful installation of the new equipment required for the 1 litre bottle format.

Digital tools for efficient remote support
Adapting the line to the new format required a combination of complementary digital remote solutions: Remote video support and remote access to the customer's machines. The Braguinée team was able to successfully control all mechanical aspects: correct installation and adjustment of parts, validation of machine operation and optimisation of line efficiency. In addition to live chat and overdrawing the screen, the Video-supported augmented reality function the customer's precise instructions. As the experts were able to show the required processes and the corresponding parts on the machines in real time, a smooth exchange was possible.
