The new Linx 10 mobile continuous inkjet printer from Bluhm Systeme has the format of a toolbox and can be easily integrated into packaging lines where space is limited.

The new Linx 10 can be changed over and set up quickly and as required by a single person. The printer weighs about half as much as a conventional inkjet printer and, thanks to its lightweight construction, carrying handle and print head lock, can be easily transported to wherever labelling is required.

With a width of 53 centimetres and a depth of 19 centimetres, the Linx 10 from Bluhm It is also only about half the size of conventional continuous inkjet printers. It can therefore be set up exactly where it is needed on the line. Alternatively, it can Mounted directly on a conveyor belt or on a production line which saves even more space.

Optional line speed sensor

The Linx 10 can optionally be equipped with a line speed sensor. This makes set-up on the line even easier. The sensor checks the speed of a line or conveyor belt and ensures that the line is running at the correct speed, that the labelling is applied in the right place at the right time - regardless of the line speed, i.e. even with speed fluctuations. This ensures consistent labelling quality.

Display

The stainless steel housing of the printer has protection class IP55, which is suitable for most labelling environments. Its robust design also ensures that the vibrations of the production line have no impact on print performance and quality.

Like its „big brother“, the Linx 8900, the Linx 10 also features a fully sealed print head. This print head requires only minimal cleaning. Its automatic flushing function always ensures an immediate, trouble-free start. Even if the printer has not been used for a month, it delivers correct print results on the first run without additional cleaning or other processes. This saves time and consumables.

The Linx 10 prints up to three lines at a speed of 2.66 m/s. The ink that can be used in the device guarantees high-quality printing results on any dry material. All consumables are available in leak-proof refill cartridges and can even be replaced during the printing process.

Operable like a smartphone

The „little Linx“ also has many tried and tested Linx features, including quick and easy text set-up via a colour touchscreen with image-based text selection. Easy-to-understand symbols simplify the set-up and selection of print information so that the device can be changed over quickly and without errors when changing products or lines.

Another advantage of the printer is that it was designed this way, that customers can carry out maintenance work themselves. No technician needs to be called in for this. As the maintenance work can be adapted to production times, downtimes can be reduced.

Linx 10 with PrinterNet

The Linx 10 is supplied with the PrinterNet software as standard. With PrinterNet not only allows settings and print jobs to be monitored and changed. The software also enables remote maintenance of the device. In the event of technical problems, help can be provided quickly - without the need for a technician to travel to the site.
