Award for sustainable measures

Constantia Flexibles was once again recognised by the Carbon Disclosure Project for its sustainable measures, such as the reduction of emissions, and was placed on the A-list.

Constantia Flexibles has been recognised by the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) for its sustainable measures to reduce emissions, mitigate climate risks and run a low-carbon business. The global non-profit environmental organisation once again placed Constantia Flexibles on the A-list. 

The assessment is based on the data submitted by the company as part of the CDP questionnaire on climate change 2021. Constantia Flexibles is therefore among the 200 best out of over ten thousand companies assessed and a pioneer in the field of environmental protection.

CDPs annual environmental disclosure and assessment process is widely recognised as the gold standard for corporate environmental transparency. In 2021, over 590 investors with over US$110 trillion in assets and 200 large buyers with US$5.5 trillion in procurement spend challenged companies, Data on environmental impacts, risks and opportunities via the CDP platform. More than 13,000 companies complied with this request.

The organisation evaluates companies according to a detailed and independent method. The assessment includes, for example, the awareness and management of environmental risks as well as the demonstration of best practice examples in the environmental sector, such as the setting of ambitious and meaningful targets.
