The company has also invested in the latest digital printing technology with the Tau 330 RSC E from Durst.
At the end of 2024, Thomas Hagmaier handed over the management of the family business Hagmaier Etiketten & Druck GmbH in Münsingen to his sons Max and Rodolfo Hagmaier. This step was the result of long-term preparations for a generational change. „Handing over everything you've built up to others is a process that you don't tick off with a snap of the fingers,“ explains Thomas Hagmaier. However, the trust in his successors has grown so that he was able to pass on the baton with a clear conscience, according to reports.
Investment decision in challenging times
A visible sign of the generational change was the decision by Max and Rodolfo Hagmaier, a Durst Tau 330 RSC E to be installed. This investment in inkjet printing technology marks a further step in the company's development. The transaction was handled by Chromos GmbH, which supports Durst in the German market.
With the new inkjet technology, Hagmaier Etiketten is expanding its Production capacities for packaging labels considerable. The new machine offers:
- Higher print quality compared to previous inkjet systems
- Flexibility for small to medium print runs
- Seamless integration into existing production processes
Since the installation of the new Durst system, the company has 800,000 linear metres of high-quality labels printed for the packaging industry. Rodolfo Hagmaier emphasises: „The combination of digital printing and laser die-cutting is ideal for small and medium print runs.“
