With the launch of the ESD paper padded bag, Froeb-Verpackungen is introducing a completely paper-based packaging to the market that reliably protects sensitive electronic components from electrostatic discharge (ESD) and mechanical stress.
The new ESD paper padded bag from packaging specialist Froeb uses paper instead of plastic. The completely paper-based solution reliably protects sensitive electronic components from electrostatic discharge (ESD) and mechanical stress, making it ideal for transporting sensitive electronic components. Ideal for shipping, storage and transport in the electronics industry.
The new ESD paper padded bag is made from fully recyclable paper-based materials with a grammage of 85 g/m². Its stable embossing ensures an excellent cushioning effect, so that even delicate components are protected against impact during storage and shipping. Integrated protection effectively shields the sensitive electronics against electrostatic discharge - and fulfils the strict requirements of DIN EN 61340-2-3, which means tested conductivity in accordance with internationally recognised standards, as required in particular in electronics production and the service sector.
However, the ESD packaging not only impresses with its optimum protective effect, but also with its sustainability. The material can be easily completely recycle in existing waste paper streams - completely without plastic or coatings - and is therefore the environmentally friendly alternative to classic plastic bubble wrap. It is available in two standard sizes (14.5 × 21 cm and 20.5 × 30 cm), but can also be customised.
