Dental care for animals in paper packaging from Koehler

Qchefs, manufacturer of dental care products for dogs, cats and horses, has switched its packaging entirely to paper from Koehler Paper.

Qchefs, manufacturer of dental care products for dogs, cats and horses, has switched its packaging entirely to paper from Koehler Paper.

Koehler NexPlus packaging papers are heat-sealable and reliably protect the product with various barrier properties. The papers are recyclable in accordance with the CEPI standard and therefore offer Environmentally friendly alternative to conventional plastic packaging.

For the family-run company Qchefs, sustainability is, according to its own statements, from the product concept to Production in Bavaria part of the DNA right through to packaging.

„We didn't want to compromise between environmental protection and quality - the paper from Koehler Paper makes both possible. Many retailers report that the products are perceived more consciously thanks to the paper packaging.“

Innovative paper solutions with NexFlex

With the NexFlex product range, the research and development team at Koehler Innovation & Technology recyclable generation of flexible packaging papers. The aim is to replace plastic in packaging - where possible - by using so-called barrier papers.

The range includes a broad spectrumThese include standard products in the field of coated and uncoated papers, which are used in composite materials for bags, sachets and other applications and are therefore suitable for a wide range of packaging for food and non-food products.

The next generation of papers for flexible packaging are the sustainable barrier papers with their functional surfaces for product-specific protection (Koehler NexPlus). The recyclability is also confirmed by the Papiertechnische Stiftung (PTS) using the current CEPI method.
