Increasing shipment volumes and orders with many variants are fundamentally changing the requirements for intralogistics systems. Coesia's presence at LogiMAT 2026 will focus on automated packaging and handling solutions that can be flexibly adapted to different products and processes.
The growing complexity of e-commerce poses structural challenges for warehouse and shipping processes. Different product sizes, high order volatility and increasing demands for sustainability require new approaches to automation.
Coesia is addressing these developments at the trade fair with an integrated portfolio for packaging, handling and palletising. The aim is to make processes along the entire fulfilment flow more efficient and flexible.
Automated pouch packaging without manual selection
A central starting point is the reduction of manual intervention in the packaging process. The Selecta system automates the selection of suitable shipping bags based on product data. Bags are then opened, filled, sealed and labelled.
According to the company, the customised packaging helps to reduce material usage and shipping volumes. At the same time, the process speed increases: up to 530 units per hour are possible. Ergonomic aspects are also taken into account, as the system provides the pouches in an optimised position for loading.
Modular carton processing with dynamic height adjustment
Coesia relies on the modular Eleva platform for carton packaging. It combines functions such as case erecting, height adjustment, closing and labelling.
A key feature is the continuous adjustment of the carton height to the respective product. This allows empty space to be reduced, which can have a positive effect on transport costs and load stability. The modular architecture also enables step-by-step expansion or adaptation to different layouts and levels of automation.
Flexible palletising for variable goods flows
The portfolio is complemented by a collaborative palletiser. This supports the flexible organisation of goods flows and enables palletising patterns to be adapted quickly. This can help to stabilise processes, particularly in environments with highly fluctuating order structures.
