With the Bag production, in the Filling technology correctly de-aerated bulk bags are important for transport and logistics. They can only be stacked stably on pallets if the Residual air could escape before sealing. With the new, easy-to-transport „bag tester“, the Beumer developed a device with which users can Venting capability from Valve bags The data obtained is useful both for checking specifications and for improving sack production. With the „bag tester“, users apply a volume flow to the valve bag and increase it until a constant pressure of 50 millibars has been reached. Then the Air permeability read off the flow meter. A filler neck with Inflation cuff on the bag valve ensures that no external air falsifies the measurement result.

Beumer emphasises the quick operational readiness and ease of use of the „bag tester“. All operating steps are carried out via the digital display unit. Even non-experts can operate the device after a short briefing. The „bag tester“ can be connected to valves with a diameter of up to 200 millimetres. An additional inflation sleeve for this valve size is supplied.
