Sorting and inspection systems from BBull

At this year's BrauBeviale, the BBull Technology Group will be showcasing its various inspection systems used in returnable and canning lines.

At this year's BrauBeviale, the BBull Technology Group from Königsbach-Stein will be focussing on the topics of sustainability and PET avoidance. In more and more food and beverage sectors, the packaging materials glass and cans are once again taking centre stage.

The following are therefore shown Inspection systems, which are used in such lines: The BBull Image DL LG returnable sorting system is used to check empties. Here, AI is used as a self-learning algorithm that recognises bottle characteristics independently and assigns them to the bottles in the crate. The system is therefore Particularly suitable for inline and offline sorting systems with a large container mix. BBull Image DL format uses the same algorithms and identifies the characteristics of each bottle (e.g. embossing) on the belt. The picture above shows the exact bottle recognition in the crate with the BBull Image DL system.

Both systems are characterised by high flexibility, reliability and Reproducibility off. What has been learnt once as a feature of a bottle can be transferred to several lines and locations. This significantly reduces commissioning costs for follow-up projects, as does the individual „handwriting“ of the commissioning engineer.

Rejection systems

For the rejection of bottles recognised as faulty, the newly developed and patented BBull Variocurve, a Servo-driven segment rejection as an alternative to rotating (BOS) and diverting systems (FLEX). BBull Alpha Pulse/X, a leak and fill level control system, was developed for the can filling line. It is cascadable, meaning that it can be interconnected with other systems, for example with the multi-line concept, and can also be expanded to include a simultaneous dating check.
