The Lithuanian company Bee Loop has developed a honey pot made from 100 per cent pure beeswax that is organic, antifungal, antiviral, antiseptic, antibacterial and, above all, recyclable.

The invention was honoured with the Adobe Sustainable Design of the Year Award, among others.

In line with the zero-waste principle, designer Aurimas Kadzevičiushas developed a recyclable solution that consists only of beeswax and does not require any additional ingredients. The honey pot is label-free, as a hot stamping die provides the branding. Organic linen is the only additional material used for this pot. It serves as a string to open the honey pot.

Bee Loop now markets the honey pot not only in Lithuania, but also internationally.
