European Pallet Association (EPAL): Bernd Dörre becomes Managing Director

The Board of the European Pallet Association (EPAL) has appointed Bernd Dörre as Managing Director of EPAL. He succeeds Christian Kühnhold, who led EPAL until 31/03/2021.

The Board of the European Pallet Association (EPAL) has appointed Bernd Dörre as Managing Director of EPAL. He succeeds Christian Kühnhold, who led EPAL until 31/03/2021.

Bernd Dörre has been involved in the development of EPAL for more than 20 years. During this time, the EPAL Euro Pallet Pool has become the largest open pallet exchange pool in the world. He initially worked as a lawyer for EPAL from 1997, before supporting the EPAL Board and management as a consultant since 2009.

Bernd Dörre's activities will focus on the further expansion of the EPAL Euro pallet pool as an indispensable component of sustainable warehouse and transport logistics, as well as the next step towards the digitalisation of the EPAL Euro pallet pool.
