LMI Technologies, manufacturer of 3D scanning and inspection solutions, is now shipping its products in 100 per cent recyclable and biodegradable packaging with QR code-based digital quick reference guides.

Disposable plastic-based foams and all other plastic materials are to be completely removed from packaging in future. The Introduction of the new Eco Smart packaging is already underway and the company expects the vast majority of its products to be converted to the new packaging by the beginning of 2023.

In addition, the new environmentally friendly packaging has a printed QR code on the outside of the box, which leads to a website with all available instructions and descriptions. When customers receive a new LMI product, they can simply scan the QR code on the packaging with their mobile device, browse the available QSGs on the corresponding website and download the PDF version that corresponds to their product.
